IonTuition had one of its best years. We’re excited to continue our momentum into 2020. Our product continues evolving to include more relevant features and tools, and we’re seeing unprecedented interest from employers in all sectors.
New Service Offering: Income Share Agreements
We moved into servicing income share agreements (ISA) this year. Income share agreements require the same level of servicing as a student loan. Students benefit from our online interface which clearly outlines their repayment and includes tools such as notifications, calculators, and payment options.
Our ISA servicing platform also includes access to our concierge advisors, who went through extensive training on ISAs this year to develop the best practices for servicing these agreements.
Big Year for New Clients
We had a record year for new clients. The The Port of Virginia became our first government entity to adopt IonTuition for their 500 employees.
IonTuition is very proud this year to onboard the NRDC (National Resources Defense Council), the notable non-profit organization dedicated to protecting our planet’s environment.
Other significant clients we partnered with in 2019 include:
- CBIZ – long-standing financial management services company
- Northern Rivers Family of Services – a passionate non-profit
- Fusion Risk Management – a business continuity software provider, headquartered in Chicago, IL
- Intelstat – global communications provider
- The Martin Agency – reputable advertising agency
- Visionist – respected software solutions and analysis firm
Default Recovery Services
In the summer of 2019, IonTuition became the first student loan assistance provider for employers to offer default recovery services through our IonCure product. We’re the only benefit provider on the market qualified to act as a Third-party servicer for federal student loans. Our priority lines into all federal servicers allow us to help employees recover from student loan default in an efficient way, requiring minimal time and effort from the borrower.
New Reports Shows Growing Demand
Our annual survey report found that student loan assistance is a top choice benefit desired by employees. What most employers are currently offering in their benefits package does not align with what workers want. Over half of employees would consider a student loan benefit the deciding factor for accepting a job at a new company. Read our the full report.
Finally, this year we helped our one millionth student loan borrower out of delinquency or default. It’s our experience helping students and employees manage their student loan debt that sets us apart from the competition. We began servicing student loan borrowers in 2012, and we’ve only improved our product since then.
We service employers of all types and sizes. Contact us today to learn how IonTuition can help your organization.
