I just received a text from IonTuition that says my loan status has changed from “in repayment” to “delinquent.” There is no way I can pay anything right now. I am barely staying on top of my bills as it is–please help!

Thank you for reaching out. Staying on top of your repayment helps maintain good credit.
Some people qualify for deferement if they’re unemployed or experiencing an economic hardship. This will temporarily suspend your student loan payments, and if you have federally subsidized loans, you won’t even be charged interest. However, we prefer to help borrowers find a long-term solution to manage their student loan payments such as an income-driven repayment plan.
