Daytona College is a career education school in Ormond Beach, Florida.
The school was founded in 1996 as the Daytona Institute of Massage Therapy. Its original focus was to train massage therapists in the Daytona and Orlando area. It was accredited as a main school in 2004 and was given degree-granting status in 2006. It has been at its current home in Ormond Beach since 2007.
While starting as a massage school, Daytona now offers degrees, certificates, and diplomas in Allied Health, Beauty and Wellness, and Business. Classes can be taken both on campus and online.
The school’s community of Ormond Beach is part of the Daytona metro area and just north of Daytona Beach. Orlando is just an hour to the west and the cities of Fort Lauderdale and Miami are down the coast.
